| SmartSolve® Synchronization Agent (SSA) Family of Products |
SmartSolve® Synchronization Agent (SSA) is an optional set of flexible and configurable integration products (agents) that allow you to electronically synchronize your organization’s key system information with the data contained within your SmartSolve® solution. Automatically syncing data between SmartSolve® and your legacy systems reduces labor and error costs and ensures data accuracy. With the SSA family of integration products, you maximize the benefits of integrated Compliance and Quality Management, allowing your company to maximize its profits.

Minimizing System Dependence
SSA’s integration approach allows you to integrate one or multiple disparate systems without dependence on version or platform. Through middleware components (fully supports both Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases) or SmartSolve’s web services APIs, SSA products extract and transform your data and populate SmartSolve appropriately.
Master File Agent (SSA-MSA) Product
The Master File Agent (MSA) enables you to automatically populate and update master file data from existing ERP/MRP systems and synchronize it with your SmartSolve database. Master file data can include Client, Client Contact, Internal Actor, Department, Part or Product, Product Line, Product Failure mode, Operation, Work Center and Unit of measurement.
Administrators can easily view synchronization log history for success of all records updated, or after the completion of the synchronization option an email is generated containing an attachment of the synchronization report. Frequency can be set to run manually or automatically with specified schedules. All automatic system changes from the central authentication synchronization will be updated in the audit trail for complete record keeping compliance.
Active Directory Utility (SSA-ADU) Product
The Active Directory Utility (ADU) enables you to automatically populate and update user data from your Active Directory system and synchronize it with your SmartSolve database.
AD Utility allows administrators to define what type of users to monitor for changes from the larger central authentication system. In addition, once the ADU detects user changes (additions, deletions, modifications) in your Active Directory, it automatically updates SmartSolve. ADU automatically generates a scheduled daily summary report on all user changes and submits it via email to your IT administrator.
Basic information such as name, user id, and email address are all mapped directly to SmartSolve’s user profile. For modifications, the ADU provides an option to automatically accept modification of basic user information or report the changes only. In addition, deleting users from your Active Directory automatically disables those users’ login privileges within SmartSolve to prevent access.
SmartSolve SSA-ADU requires Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Active Directory.
Complaint Synchronization Agent (SSA-CSA) Product
Besides being necessary for maintaining compliance with industry regulations, complaint handling is an essential element for improving a company’s performance. Many companies’ approach to complaint logging and screening may not start with a complaints group, but in different operational areas such as field or customer service, an internal or outsourced call center or even customers through a company website. Once the initial data is captured, organizations look to push the data into the appropriate complaints group to continue with additional information collecting, investigations, and if required, reporting.
The Complaint Synchronization Agent (SSA-CSA), allows companies through a middleware component or SmartSolve’s web services APIs, to automatically populate and update complaint record data from existing CRM, field service or websites, and synchronize it with your SmartSolve database. Once updated, an email is automatically generated to alert the appropriate complaints coordinator to continue the complaint handling process. All automatic system changes from the complaints synchronization will be updated in the audit trail for complete record keeping compliance.
